Mine are in the mail. Any tips for install?

If it takes longer than 59 seconds to swap both and open a beer, you are doing it wrong. Slide the housings left or right and pull. They pop out, unplug, plug in new and pop in.

Is the bracket plastic or composite? The one on my sports is stainless steel.

It’s heavy and feels like painted metal. Definitely doesn’t feel like plastic.

Just popped my new license plate lights in. Even little STEDI things like these, I'm just impressed with the quality and always amazed how fast the DHL shipping is.

Anyone order recently? How's the shipping speed. I need to order the lc200 piggyback adapter unless someone has an extra I could get off you.

I don't have a spare, but I can confirm that it works well. Shipping was quoted to cost me as much as the adapter after I forgot it on my original order. The people at Stedi let me tack it on to my light order and saved me like $30 AUD. Packing was s***e though. They just taped it to the outside if the box. Small miracle that it wasn't more mangled the way shippers treat packages.

My wife got me the lights for Xmas but didn't think I needed an adapter as they told me via email that the kit had all the adapters I needed.
One question will the lights turn on if they aren't connected to the hi beams? Or since it's all wired to the relay the circuit remains open if not connected to the hi beams?

The way I have mine wired, the spots only work when I have the high beams on. When I flip to low beam, they turn off. I used the red wire from the Stedi harness to my switchpros trigger wire. You could just as easily trigger directly off the wire itself. The harness they offer makes it plug and play with no splicing.

I mounted and attempted to wire but did not have the hi beam adapter so it wasn't connected, however I could not get the lights to turn on I figured the circuit was open due to the hi beam connection was not connected. At least I'm hoping that's it, as they are brand new from December.

These are the ones I ordered. Cheap too. Like $23 for a set of two.

I had to order the piggy back harness however the license plate lights were on backorder so couldn't order and didn't want to repay shipping for only the license plate lights. I ordered some of Esty for 13 free shipping. Quality seems ok, the only thing I did notice is the gasket supplied is nearly twice as thick as the lc200 one so I reused the thinner gasket from the license plate lights. So far seem to work good, if you use the thicker supplied gasket they fall out (maybe some clear silicone would fix it). I've had them on for around a week.
