When you say bench test are you checking resistance in the contacts or doing an amp draw test?

Nothing that "fancy". Just layed the starter on the bench and jumpered it with cables to make sure it worked. I thought I'd fiddle with it more tomorrow but it's snowing again and my sore throat is back again.

Day before I went looking for the shop but didn't have the address with me. You're on Crater Lake or Vilas??

OK, thought it might be around there. I know where you are so now you're screwed. I'll stop by asap to enrich you. Probably not today though. James if I brought you a starter could you double check it for me?

I can check it if its on the truck with our d-tac but if you want it to be properly bench tested I bet AA electric would do it for free and I would recommend them to rebuild it if Necessary
