Starter Problems-Help

Just finished replacing my contacts and plunger on my starter (96 lx 450). As I was putting the starter back together, I managed to let the commutator slip out from between the brushes. I then tried to unscrew the brush holder screws and have nearly stripped them. Any ideas about how I can get the commutator back between the brushes without drilling the screws.

If I have to drill, any idea about what size those screws are? TIA

Well I was able to use an extraction bit and my drill to remove the screws. If you don't have an extraction bit, run to your nearest Home Despot. I think I'll sleep better at night now that I have one!
