Starter Contacts (1 Viewer)

I own a 97 model with 109K miles on the ODO....I need to change the starter contacts.....do I have remove the starter from the vehicle or can I do it while it is there ?

Hey, long time no hear. How's that baby treating you?

You'll need to pull the starter out of the vehicle to change out the contacts.

Like Rick, said the starter has to be remove. Do a search and you'll find a few good threads on detail instructions on how to do a starter rebuild.
