Needing some lube help. I recently installed a OME lift and the Beast has been squeaking over every bump and pothole noticeably louder than before on the old stock suspesion. I had all the greasable shackle zerks shot with a grease gun, so it's not coming from within the bushings. Any suggestions? My urge is to bomb the outside of the bushings with WD-40, but I'm guessing that may set me back. How do I quiet the old Beast down?

Thanks for any help-
Adam

if you did not grease the pins and bushings before install then a lack of grease is the issue and source of noise. Just cause you greased them after install means unfortunately NOTHING as the grease will find the path of least resistance and likely not hit all of the surfaces of the bushings.

Sounds like an OME suspension to me.

Coat everything before you assemble it.

I have had mine for about 6 years now. Squeaked then and squeaks now.

I've got an OME suspension on my 86 and it squeaks pretty regularly. I just shoot it with a bit of grease and call it good. In a month or two it starts squeakin again and I shoot em up again
