Hai, i have bought a fj80 1992 with 1hz engine, since the day of purchase, i have spend thousands in replacing worn out parts and the list are as follow:

1) engine oil
2) power steering oil
3) engine belting
4) fan belts
5) re coil the starter motor
6) brake fluid
7) clutch fluid
8) front hub kit
9) 5 pieces of yokohama 285/75/16
10) front rod end

Did i miss anything? Anyway, i really like the way it perform, until recently when i drove it for long distance from my town to another town 60 km away, in th returning trip, i could hear these sqeaking squeking noise comig from the engine compartment, when i ease the clutch pedal the noise reduces, what could have caused these noises? :crybaby: thanks

Your landcruiser is actually a HZJ80 because it has the 1HZ diesel.

Does the squeaking get worse as the engine gets faster?

Im guessing its a thrust bearing

I noticed you have changed all the belts. After a while they need to be readjusted to allow for some stretching from new.

That list of repairs is common for a 1992 landcruiser. It should be ok for a while now.
When you say brake fluid and clutch fluid ,do you mean the Master cylinders?

when i bought the cruiser, the liquid in the master cylinder resembles some slug like jelly, that is why i replace all the fluid, next step will be the radiator fliud and hoses, then all the window trim, as all four window trim have hardened. cheers.

when you did the clutch did the pilot bearing get replaced?
were the fan belts over tightened? this will lead to bearing failure in one of the accessories...
