Had some in the back once....:flipoff2:

And there are some in the engine, holding the valves against the cam :grinpimp:

Sorry, couldn't resist! No offence intended

Has anyone put coil springs in a Hzj73?

Yep Its been done but kits from oz are supposed to be cost prohibitive.
Someone said $10k but Im sure there are some others cheaper than that.
The current 74,78,79 have factory coils in the front.

I dont know who owns this 75 but thanks and it sure is neat:D

Doesnt sound right does it.? I think it was Thommo73 that got that price.
Maybe that was labour too ,but still....$10K

I was going to build the front and rear links with crossover steering. I know it wouldn't be that much. Can a Detroit Locker be installed in the axles? Do they even make them? Thanks:beer:

Yes they are considered the budget alternative to an ARB locker in oz.

What is wrong Detroit lockers? I have never had any problems with them?

I didnt mean they have anything wrong with them but as Entaran says ,the ARB can be switchyed on/off.
If you dont want to pay for the ARB ,get the Detroit Locker.
Detroit are usually considered the best auto locker
