For sale the three different than one piece transfer hand brake parts. Have the rear bearing retainer, rear output shaft and brake drum. They are used and in good shape. Other parts needed are the same as the one piece transfer case hand brake. $550 PayPal friends and family shipped in the US.

Note: when adding these parts I understand you use the rear seal from a one piece case verse a US import split case without a hand break.

So when upgrading to a H55F you can use the drum parking break for the original H42?

The H42 has to be 8/80+ and later to mate to a split transfer case. Up to 8/80 the rear output shaft of the four speed was sixteen spline. 8/80 and later is nineteen spline, which is what the split transfer cases are made for. The H55F will not mate to the early one piece T case and needs to be switched to 10/82+ split T case. All these parts do is allow the hand brake setup from a one piece transfer case work on the split transfer.
