Anyone know if the spider/side gears in a '70 FJ40 are interchangeable with an '88 FJ62?

I have a rear locker in my '88 FJ62 which I am selling, and would like to hang onto the locker and put it into my '70 FJ40 if I can move the '40 spider/side gears into the '62.

Seems like a long shot, but I believe it's the same lockrite PN for both vehicles, which makes me wonder if the rest of the parts are interchangeable....
