I have a Orion Tcase. Been running it for 12 years now. My Mechanical Speedo will not plug into it.
I think its about time to reconnect to the Speedo.
Anyone out there with a fix, I can't find anything.
I spoke to Advance adapters, and have done a in-depth internet search--> nothing.

Thanks,
Paul

Doesn’t the Orion case use a donor OEM speedometer housing/e-brake adapter from a stock FJ40 transfer case? If so, the stock Toyota components should work. Maybe your speedometer drive gear is missing?

I know the little “adapter” to mount the cable to the bolt-on rear transfercase housing varied a bit a couple times over the years, but I think it was just how it sealed. Not 100% positive on that though.

Also check the nylon driven gear the interfaces with the drive gear inside the rear housing. If those aren’t mated up appropriately, the nylon gear tends to shear.

Is that an Orion HD?

Won’t work on the Complete HD Orion from 2007. Anyone out there with a HD Orion?
