Has anyone used Spartan Lockers? and will they be able to support 37 in tires? I'm thinking of getting some lockers either Detroits or Spartans if they review well for the rear and ARB for the front. Thoughts and comments would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the response. I'm having issues with searching, I''m in Iraq right now and the internet is super slow. It's faster for me to ask and check again on it later than it is to wait for a page to load for some reason. But you pretty much answered my question if there's nothing on about it using more than 33s. thanks again.

I don't think they have a max tire size, I just picked one up for my project and I have to say it is pretty stout, the cross pin is enormous.

Considering the drivers and couplers are made out of 9310 steel it should be able to take a lot of abuse before failing. I read up a bunch on it and apparently they stand up to broken axles without the splines stripping out.

Here is the site for them:

Auto Parts: SL D60-35 - The Spartan Locker, by USA Standard Gear, provides reliable traction at a low cost. Give your vehicle great traction and save some cash. Choose a Spartan Locker for better traction. The Spartan locker by USA standard gear is a

It does say "light vehicles" though. Of which the Land Cruiser isn't by any means. But, as you stated above it probably is a little CYA so that someone with 40" Super Swampers doesn't try and sue them if it were to break and they roll over or something like that. I've heard of stupider claims, case in point, the law suit that Super Size Me covered.

it looks like I might go with Detroits for the rear. Unless someone has something better for 37 in tires. Any suggestions other than ARB (that's for the front).
