I tend to pick and choose OEM vs aftermarket. As long as you stick with Denso or other reputable brand I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

The ignition system is picky sometimes. You're fine getting the Denso ones for about $50. I run NGK wires but I'm going to replace soon. I just had them laying around, so that's what is on it now.
