Does the tube-style spare wheel carrier differ on various year models? I (foolishly) bought a second hand one to replace my rusted out one, and after cutting out the rust, welding and painting, the bolt holes don’t line up with the body mounts when I went to install it. D’oh!
the one that came off my 1984 BJ46 also has an extra vertical tube closest to the two hinges than the replacement I picked up.
