I have decided it is about time to off-road with a spare tire. I have been testing my luck long enough. Anyone have a used spare for my 80? 285 75 R16. Don't care what brand or tread as I hope I will never need it.

Greg, I've known you for a few years now, and you have been off roading with a spare tire for quite some time now. But so has most of the club, some more than others.

Ah just do what most people like to do, go with like vehicles wth like wheels and as long as your the first one to get a flat it's all good LOL.

But seriously I've put 3 sets of tires on my truck and I always buy in sets of 5 just rotate your spare thru with your other tires during rotations then when you need new tires you have actually worn them all out so you can go to a bigger size with out being stuck with an off size spare.

Some of us have super swamper spares. ;p

All my spares with rims are either winter tires or used tires (aka case of beer tires). Right now the beer tires are on the trailer and two of the winter tires are hanging off the back of the Safaris.
