If I put the spare tire on the front bumper, will it cause air flow problems on hot days with or without the ac on?

I'd say that it probably would cause enough blockage to make it run a lot hotter, but with the spinners it would look pimp. :D

I have the spare mounted on the front of the chevy (totally unrelated, I know), and it never overheats or runs hot. I just think it looks silly.

Maybe it would hinder radiator performance if you bolted it directly to the radiator. But out front on the bumper, there will be plenty of room for air.

I have it on the cargo area now but would like to be able to mount it somewhere else when I need the room.

Underneath. Yea, I know underneath isn't an option when you've got the long range gas tank, but that's not a problem I have. I made a mount for in the rear cargo area when I'm in the rocks, but for everday convenience, it tough to beat the under mount.

Have you seen how large your engine bay is? How much 'under car' area there is?

I'd have a hard time believing you'll block enough air to make any difference.
