Spare Tire Cover: Prefer Metal Over Fabric (1 Viewer)

Has anyone made their own spare tire/wheel cover out of metal? Any sources for someone that fabricates metal covers?

I'm wanting one for a 35" spare. Any advice??

Yeah, buy an old Lincoln and sell the 40 to someone who is not going to the mall.

How about those high-rent RVs that have stainless steel covers on the spares? Not sure of the tire dia., but you could ask at an RV shop, and hope to find a used one in their parts/scrap department. Check eBay, too.
