So as it turns out my spare tire carrier underneath is free and spins very easily with the tool under the seat. :bounce:

the only problem is that I dont have the portion that attaches to the wheel if there is even one. What does this mystery piece look like? would it be easy to fab or should I just purchase one?

I confirm, it's stock. Same as mine, just not as rusty ;)

what communication??? With our schedules were sometimes lucky to get a high five as we pass in the door way of the house. Damn jobs and bills. sigh.
