Spare front axles

Im going to get a spare front axle for the Hundy. Are the left and the right interchangeable or do I need both sides?

Left and right are the same/interchangeable. I, in addition to typically carrying a spare on most of my explores, carry a pair of hub flanges that I had the splines bored out of...and they came in handy a few weeks ago when I grenaded a CV and found I forgot to throw the spare CV axle in the truck!
