Ok so I am just about ready to get my frame painted, and i have one last thing to do.

The spacers that hold the box mounting points even on the scab plate with all their different spacing.

What is everyone using to make these spacers?

Spence

i grabbed the spacer that was on the car that the box was on, nice cast aluminum peice fits perfect, no work involved. 80s XJ

Treeroot made his out of 1" 1/4" wall tube or somthing, the right material is out there, you just have to find it. I think he may mention it in his right up.

1/2" Black pipe. Cheap and easy to get!

jack handle from old cheesy sears floor jack that took a dump, sawzall , tack weld , test fit , grind to perfection , finish weld , paint......... please use grade 8 bolts of the proper length when fastening box to frame. One of the most common skimped on area's IMO.......

7/16 set collars don't work too bad .should be avail. at local tool supplier
