Just putting out a feeler. Purchased from a neighbor to be used as a car for a teenager, I realized its a little too special to be turned loose and a Camry may be a more suitable and economical vehicle for a 16 year old. I have a copy of the Carfax and it was a leased vehicle for 6 months and then bought by the second and last owner and kept until 2 months ago when I purchased.

2001 Toyota Land Cruiser

209k miles and rising slightly as it is driven daily

Has sticker indicating timing belt and WP under 100k miles and again in the 160s. Found Toyota records indicating starter was replaced a few months ago before I purchased.

No clunks, rattles, or other issues that I know of, just normal wear on the door panels, steering wheel, shifter, and carpet. All the windows and locks work correctly. Truck drives nicely down the road at all speeds with cold front and rear AC, and no error lights, clunks, rattles, leaks, or apparent issues. I also want to say this truck is RUST FREE, extremely clean underneath with no apparent corrosion or damage. Vehicle appears to have been very well maintained. Detailed photos available on request.

I took it to my local mechanic and had the following performed:

- Gear Oil changed in front, rear, transfer case and transmission service.
- Rear driveshaft U Joints replaced as per mechanic
- PS exhaust manifold since it had a slight exhaust leak when cold, was also told O2 sensors looked new.
- Spark Plugs Replaced
- Air Filter Replaced
- Brake fluid flushed and replaced
- Oil, power steering and coolant fluids flushed and changed.
- Kenwood Double DIN Radio with Rear Camera Mounted on the Rear Hatch
- New Key and alarm fob
- Paint buff and wax
- Repainted bumpers and side trim and re-cleared to correct minor scuffs and scratches
- Added a new Curt Rear Receiver Hitch since it did not have the factory tow package.
- Recovered seats in two tone leather
- Replaced all interior and exterior light bulbs with high quality LED bulbs. Includes high and low beam headlights.
- Replaced factory subwoofer with pyle 6.5 sub as per thread here.
- Replaced all wiper blades
- Replaced hood and hatch struts
- New Yokahoma Geolandar 255/70R16 tires
- New Windshield, has had one minor chip and has been filled.

Asking $15k obo

Basically I am selling to avoid keeping it for myself and building it into another project vehicle :bang:. Its already on the verge of getting suspension and bumpers.

See link below:

Also we can help facilitate delivery in Texas or the US if you handle all the costs.

Bump to the top. Please let me know if you have any questions or I would even entertain trades if its a good deal.

Price seems good for a rust free well maintained hundo,

but I really think the 2 tone seats are what’s preventing this from selling quick.

I would have never thought, just used a local interior guy to redo them and he did a really nice job. Heated seats were also retained, I guess someone could always redo them for 8-900 if they wanted to.

It is absolutely rust free and everything works perfectly. Thanks for the input.

Seats don't bother me at all, fwiw. Unlike the above poster, I think it may be the price. I've seen similar rust free trucks listed anywhere from $8,000 to $12,000 in the last three months.

That said, rust free, well maintained 100s are still hard to find, and you never know what someone might be willing to spend.

Perfect SUV for a teen. Safe. Reliable. Easy to work on.

Thanks, I am absolutely open to offers. I think I need to post more undercarriage photos, this thing is absolutely spotless underneath and I feel like it has been sorted pretty well.

I agree its a great learner truck when they are close, college is a couple hundred miles away so a warranty may be easier.

I'm interested, and I have a Camry with 120K miles, taken from my mother after she entered assisted living, if you are interested. Maybe a trade plus cash? LMK what you think.

At least the interior has a family legacy component...looks just like a 40th Anni. 80 Series :)
Condition IMHO is more important (unless it's some odd leather like alligator or something)
Carhartt seat covers are a couple keystrokes away.

Yes sir, have had some solid offers just haven't accepted one yet. Thinking of doing a full detail and throwing it up on cars and bids.

For what its worth the folks that have looked at it have said its even cleaner in person. When I say the undercarriage is rust free I mean it is CLEAN lol. No spray paint cover up like in the listing above.

Pm'd. I have a 2006 Limited Space Gray 4runner. 2wd/v6, spacer lift, new Sumitomo Tires, with 202K miles. I would be willing(with wife's permission) to trade with cash on top on my end. I can get you some photos, if interested. I am in north Louisiana.
