Bigger.....

Michael, what's the deal for this weekend? I think we should try to at least get a day trip in. I definitely want to help Dain also. It would be good experience and I'm sure one day we will need his help in return.

Well, made a little progress on mounting my Oasis II RTT, and a few other little things.

At first I had the tent mounted inside my safari rack but the sides were a little tall, and you could feel them under you while it was deployed. Luckily, my rack is modular, and was never welded together.

First pic is the original mounting idea with complete rack, second picture is my "modified" rack - no cutting, just reassembled in a different fashion sans the side bars.

I didn't deploy the tent cause it was raining, but it will be parallel to my truck, no longer perpendicular like the first shot. Should be a little more stable and also has the additional perk of allowing me to run the ladder off the side instead of the back.

Disco Cup Holder!

Went ahead and spray painted my disco cup holder black... it was the only color I had, and I'm not gonna add cost to this mod for gray spray paint.

Installed w/3 small washers on the bottom (sideways) screw, leveled it out perfectly.

Now the :princess: has somewhere to put her latte :grinpimp:

Check it, Home Slice....

If I can get off at a decent time, you should swing by and we will install those CB radios (courtesy of Ryan). Maybe even try to tackle one of the compressors?:wrench::beer:

Got some reverse LED's installed.

They're a bit brighter than stock, but for $9 I'm not complaining.

Hey, send me that link.

Not really winter anymore, but hell, I got a few things done...

Installed a Rav4 CDL switch instead of my hazard switch. Hazard is free to a good home if anyone is in need.

Also got some interior LED's installed. Not too great of pictures, but I can tell you it's probably the single best "bang for your buck" mod I've done, I couldn't be more pleased with the light output.

What year Rav4? direct fit or did you have to trim the "tabs"? I'd be interested in the hazard switch for my compressor switch.

Hey Brandon, the Rav was a 97. Not sure on the year models that came with this option but it was whatever range that fell into. It was in fact a direct fit, with the only difference between this and the 100 series switch that Slee sells being this one features the wheels/drive train vertically on the switch as opposed to horizontal.

Interesting caveat is that the Rav has to be a manual, as the automatic Rav's were fitted with ECT buttons instead of CDL's.

The hazard switch is all yours if you want it!
