Gauging interest for my 1990 Diesel 80 VX Limited. Title in hand.
Approximately 228,000 Kms.
Timing Belt changed at 200,000 Kms.
BEB replacement/inspection performed? unknown.
4.2 1HD-T, does not burn oil, and minimal oil in the catch can.
Right Hand Drive
Triple Locked, working condition.
Factory winch with the controller.
Interior in great condition save for the shifter plate that had a rubber mat screwed onto it.
Heat and AC works. Not sure if the A/C is R134 or R12.
Installed by me:
DEPO Crystal Headlights
PDI Front Mount Intercooler
HPD Oil Catch Can
ARB Front Bumper
4x4Labs Rear Dual Swingout Bumper
LRA 40 Gallon Aux Tank
Dobinsons variable rate Springs
Dobinsons 4-6" Shocks
Dobinsons Steering Stabilizer
ToughDog Castor Correction Plates
ToughDog Front and Rear adjustable Panhard rods
Beaudesert 3" Exhaust
JDM Raguna Wheels on BFG AT KO2s (33x12.5x15)
Bowfin Roof rack.
Pioneer Touchscreen radio.
Saber Technologies EGT gauge plumed post turbo.
Overall condition of the truck is great. I get comments every time I drive it anywhere. Couple of things to note is that the turbo seals are worn out and pushing some oil into the intake. I checked the turbo when I installed the Exhaust and there was no shaft play.
I'm also running about 14PSI on the turbo which is probably all the stock CT26 can take.
There is very minimal rust on the frame as it was undercoated when it came from Japan.
The truck was originally imported by an importer in PA and I purchased the truck when I was in the Northwest. Then I moved to PA this October. So the truck has not seen a lot of salt or snow.
Truck fires up even on the coldest day and has no issues. EGTs don't exceed 900s, and that when I'm climbing a steep mountain as I shift down to 4th.
The most formidable rust that I've seen is on the rear tailgate under the seal for the glass.
The injection pump is the original. The fuel was adjusted but needs proper tuning. I also have a custom machined Aneroid Pin that is not installed.
I have a spare set of fenders, a tailgate and a myriad of parts that I've accumulated since I got the truck in 2017.
The FMIC pipes are Green.
Transmission shifts fine without any issues as does the Transfer case.
I'm thinking about asking for $17,000 for the truck. Let me know if interested.
Reason I'm seeling is, I'm ready to move on to a different car. This is by far the truck that I've put most of my time, sweat, tears and flung curse words at.
