Title says it all I guess.

I like steel rims. They bend, you get a hammer. They scratch, you get paint, they gouge, you get a mig/tig, a sander, and paint.

You want 'em flashy, you air brush. You want em tough, you paint them black. You want them interesting, you paint them black on dark grey.

I would like steel rims of between 17 and 20 inch with 12 to 15 inches of width. Preferably from a company that will build them to the proper offset.

Anyone have any ideas on a good company or a good company with a killer steel design? Split rims would be a bonus.

Thanks in advance guys and gals.

Stockton wheel service. Stockton, CA. Kinda .spensive- but very nice.

Or go into your local Discount Tire and ask to see the Unique Wheel catalog. Pick out a wheel you like- give them your specs (diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset, etc.) The guy at the counter will look at you with a very confused look- ask him to call the factory for a "custom quote". He'll do it (grudgingly). Then you'll have the exact wheel you want for approximately $75-$85 each.

Check out Summit. They have custom steel wheels that can be built to your specs.

What size tire are you looking to mount on a 12 or 15 inch wide wheel?
.

Looking at 35's or 41's with 15 inches tread.

Looking to install power steering first.

Looking in the Aussie market for the parts to my RHD vehicle.

I had Tried E-mailing Matt but he seems to have changed his E-mail address in Australia, or he is no longer part of the MUD community.

I run 15x42x15 TSL Swampers on 15x10 steel wheels. I cannot think of a single reason why I would need or want a wider wheel.

OEM 40 series style power steering with tires larger than 33” off road is far from a good combination.

I would try and find a RHD 60 series power steering gear.

How do you plan to fit a 41” tall tire?

SOA and a bit of cutting. No other way that I know.

I have big plans this Summer. Then again, my plans have been disrupted before :(

We shall see.

Thanks
