Is there a source or good alternative (please do not answer with zip ties) for the plastic wraps that were used to secure the factory harness along the inner fenders? It was dark last night and didn't get a good pic. Toyota Matt and City Racer show nothing on the websites. Scoured over the Toyota Electronic Parts Catalog diagrams and could not find anything. Looks like I need 4 of them for my '71 to get the harness back where it belongs.

Toyota still sells them. I believe I can get the part number tonight.

They are still available from Toyota. I bought some last year. 90463-10521

Sweet. Thanks for that! Google searching the part number brought up some good info with other variations and part number.

I'm looking for the blue ones.

Here are some links to good info with pics and part numbers:

Another good source of info with a chart and part number for misc plastic toyota clips and bits:

I used to get Christmas tree locking wire straps from cars at the junkyard, but I’ve been enjoying the updated version of this idea for a while. 1/4” hole, insert push fitting, and it leaves an anchor point to attach different straps and ties. I usually zip tie it so if I have to open it back up, I just clip the tie and rezip after. And I have an existing anchor point if I add more stuff later. I’ve found it to work very well for my beetle, a couple of trucks, utility and gooseneck trailers. I just ordered a bag of them for the 40 to do the new harness. Looks good, Low profile, lightweight, inexpensive, lasts a long time, cheap to replace.

i don’t know how to copy a link from my Amazon app, so here is a screenshot of the bag I just ordered.

I guess since we on the topic here

Some Easter 🐣 eggs can slip out

- my current yellow chromate plated spring tension clamps kit getting a update and upgrade to a full ON 200pcs kit more size spec variations and well tons more of them

- I tripped over This I call
Them “ hair pin “ spring tension clamps but I know that’s not JiS correct ?

anyone know the proper jis terminology for these small but indeed used thin guages micro clamps with butterfly 🦋 wings to hand 🤚 compress

anyway both will be online very very soon

Now into new and uncharted territory realated to Evans tech topic generalized :

utility retainers for all occasions…

All OEM toyota many uses I can dream of ..

- dark ones upper lh corner bags of 10pcs
Single brake lines tubing 8mm bolt holes is rare in my experience ?

- upper rh side larger tubing or small sub harness,s
looms or tubes there both rubber vulcanized to prevent abrasions

larger ones do to a few factors maybe single available or 2 packs / twin packs ?

not sure yet ?

big brown ones middle rh side and twin tubes I think 8mm fuel lines for sure …

you know suction and return line running parralll
Safe to clamp to chassis in tandom

or

clamp 2 soft lines like @cruiserboy14 had going on today

no flapping in the AZ wind no rubbing and chafing other parts safety items if u will neatness is safe too …

little bags of 10pcs bottom are a flexible J clamp that can hold a loom of wires or a single brake line or tube fuel or the like

6mm hole fastenrs size spec.

I have no clue what there actually for but it’s a solid part # and also a price point where a 10pack is well gimmi more of them possible

Ok

im looking for some feedback here on the below please

these are metric zinc plated generic clamps I got a nice samplers platter

dig all the various profiles and sizes specs

I can only dream big dreams on a end use growing up

I needed all of these at one time or another ?

key point ok , not oem toyota

but metric indeed

and well they look oem toyota or at least Japanese’s mounting hardware to me

problem solvers !

only con. No rubber parts in tips ?

However not all land cruiser clamps had vucinized rubber dipped ends either to be clear

ps lines metal pressure feeds

Metal fuel hard lines never did either

I see these running all over the front face and front sides of all F series and 2F and 3F too for a double or single return lines or pressure feed fuel

lines only

all have 8mm bolts holes for mounting

And the price point is well better then you can think …

Thoughts ?

Holiday trigger pulling is happening right now du to covid

I am hording all nice stuff from a good past and introducing a wild array of off the cuff gut instinct stuff too

also

phasing out stuff like air filters that are hard to ship due to size etc …

all air filters are $8 or less

only keeping the oval DeNso japan 2F one because a OEM toyota same exact part different color box now will exceed 47$ msrp

That’s insane and shaft by toyota in my face anyway !
