Sorry lads! birf another birf question (1 Viewer)

When I was re- re-packing the left hand side birf tonight, after I had washed out all the wrong grease I fitted, I noticed, if you got hold of either side of the birf and pulled and pushed, there was movement of about 1.5mm is that normal, I did not try it on the other side, and had put that one back together, any thoughts on that.

Cheers beowolf.... I took the car out for a quick spin after I had done the repack, and the tocking noise has gone with the new moly grease in the birf, but not really tested it out on hard acceleration on a righthand up hill turn, will try it out in the morning, I could not see any other wear in the birf that would make it tock.
