I got a 25% off ARB from a member here and am wondering what to get for my 62. I was thinking OME deluxe medium kit or an RTT.
I'm leaning toward the suspension. I might be able to pick up a used ARB basket rack with mesh flooring. If so, I would just get an awning for now. With the savings on the suspension it would be like getting a free awning with it. Can a RTT be used with a basket roof rack? Any other suggestions are welcome, as well.

I'd get a selectable locker. The suspension is a reasonable price. Lockers not so much. Just my 2 cents :)

Of course this is all about what you want to do with the rig.

For a wheeler you drive on the street a lot a selectable locker would be nice.

For a more daily driver you may want suspension if yours is worn out.

Glad I could help :)

Hate to steal they thread but what's a selectable locker- and any links?

I have an original FJ62, only 70K miles... I just put in an OME medium from Man-a-fre... I am so happy I cannot believe it... It looks, rides, handles, and wheels so much better... I would do the suspension over anything else... My springs and shocks were not that bad, but, the rear still sagged alot... The new OME suspension is a dream... The stance and look alone are so worth it... The extra height is so cool... I really wish I would have done the suspension years ago... What a difference.. Do the suspension, that is my advice...

Thanks, hjdca! I am leaning very heavily towards this. What size tires are you running? I'll probably stick with my 31's for a while.

if its 25% off you're entire order, splurge and get both the air locker/air compressor and OME lift and dominate every trail you drive.

if not, very tough choice but I'm gonna have to say new suspension so you can ride in comfort and still be able to do some wheeling with the increased height.
Good luck with your tough decision

I think it's just one item. Suspension is looking like the winner

Go with the full OME kit.
You won't regret it or believe how much better the ride is.
Especially at 25% off.

I vote suspension as well, it's the foundation (literally) for everything else you want to do. Everything you add to the truck is weight added...a new suspension is key to all of that. Plus ride quality obviously.

I'm definitely going with the suspension. I'll post the pics when it's done. Thanks to everyone for the input.

No worries with 31's... I love 31's on mine... I am old school and don't believe in a mandatory filling of the wheel wells and I like the performance I get with 31's . Here is a pic after I just installed the kit... Back has settled down about 1/2 inch.. Personally, I think my 31's look great... I like showing wheel well, it makes the truck look tougher...

Thanks for the pic. Looks great! That's my favorite paint on a 62. I'm envious
