Haven’t had much time to work on my FJ now that farm season is up and going. I did however tinker on this guy a little bit today.
Unimog 406 MB4/94, super impulse purchase at the time but hey, never can own to many toys.

I remember driving them as a kid. My dad ran a Case dealer and he would let me drive them sometimes. Great vehicles. Always wanted one.

Maybe ten plus years ago I remember passing some super cool looking yellow truck on one of the back roads near Fort Collins and always wondered what it was. I figured it was a Unimog but never confirmed nor saw it again. Well, here it is, and judging by your location it could have been the same truck.

I drove a 900 that looks very similar for 3 seasons in the 1980s in Nevada ... it was a wildland fire truck with a 250 gallon tank on the bed and a scraper blade mounted to the front (for cutting fireline). Hot and slow, but still fun.
