first north american (usa/canada) with a 2f dated 1/75
FJ40 = FJ40191114
FJ55 = FJ55046930



2/76 land cruisers models were divided depending on where they were shipped to (usa or canada) starting with vin numbers FJ40217398 and FJ55058649



diesel hardtop introduction was BJ40020835 on 3/78



3fe engines started with FJ62074006 on 8/87



all this is from the toyota usa, canada vehicle identification manual CAT NO 87914-89, published in July of 89


anybody have any of these vins?

I want to say my 10/75 is 210043 and that one is not canadian, Pretty sure it's was always a US 40.

What were the US vins split to? I guess I don't really understand the thread...

Mine is FJ40232639 - I wish it would have been born in Canada rather than the US, smog crap sucks!
 
split is when they started designating them as usa or canada (emissions/dot purposes probably)
