Hi guys,

I'm just about to convert my 88 Fj62 to Diesel (3B) and a manual gearbox.
I heard about a guy from Nova Scotia that did exactly that. Maybe he is here on the list. I also would like to chat to other Land Cruiser Diesel guys from Nova Scotia (or New Brunswick)

Herbert

Hi this is your guy, his name is Daryl.

Send him a private message. I do not know how often he comes on here. You might also try sending him an email if he lists one to the public.

Cheers, BB

Hey Herbert,

Daryl is a great guy, and did a nice job on his diesel conversion. If you can't get a hold of him you might also want to drop into AFAR (garage that deal mainly with toyotas), I believe the mechanics name is John. They are located in Halifax, just off Robie Street. I believe his plan a couple of years ago was to pick up an american 40 or 62 and transplant a diesel.

Where did your 3B come from, I am looking for a good 40 frame.

I'm in St. John's NL, but get home to NS every once in a while, let me know if I can be of any help as well

Robert

Thanks for the Info and for offering help guys!

Robert, my 3B is out of a BJ60. I have a complete donor truck with 5 speed gearbox, that I will also transplant. Can't wait. My 62 is originally from Florida, I bought it last year here on this list and drove it from Tampa up to Annapolis Royal.
I hope to post pictures here on the list during the transplant.
