Decided to pop the hood on the tundra and check things out. Coolant was low….opened oil cap …

Wtf! 160k, runs… ran fantastic now this. Looking around prices on 2UZ vvti are like $2500-$3500….still figuring out what to do.

Does that engine get short tripped a lot? I'm guessing condensation from the engine not getting hot enough for long enough to completely com out the oil.

If you don't have a milkshake oil change that is....

It does, but I’m missing coolant. I topped it off and it was really low so I’m topping again and seeing how it does.

The oil isn’t milkshake, but I was seeing some
Overheating last summer. Replaced fan clutch and radiator cap and all seemed fine. I guess not.

One last winter storm in New Mexico Makin it difficult to work on the mini truck.

I can say this rig is officially ready for sas. Extended rear brake line( t100 hose), new belts and exhaust. No more complaints about being too loud

I just installed what looks like the same muffler on my 40 last weekend…. but I took the easy route and just clamped instead of welding the lead pipe and tail pipe. I will probably regret that at some point in the future…
