Bit of excitement coming down black bear when my front left tire pushed out some soft dirt and wanted me to take a short cut! Thanks again to Doug, Gabriel, and Bill for helping make sure I was able to get back down safely: much appreciated! Here we are after the excitement.

Finally hit TX this morning. Unfortunately it was almost 11 hours later before I got home . Really big state. Did get some cool pics though. A bit greener the further east I moved. The final one is outside of Junction TX. crossed over just west of El Paso networked with some good AZ mud dudes ( @lcwizard , @bwesty & @gearinstalls.com ) while in their great state. Hope we can get them to the 3rd annual summit . I had a goal of hitting Balmorhea State park and take a dip in their spring fed pool. It’s basically an oasis in the desert. Unfortunately I found out they had shut it down 6 months ago for repairs . So no opportunity out to enjoy it on this hot afternoon.
