Where are you located?

Figured it out. New Orleans Right. Shipping would probably be really high. Lets talk anyway.

I'd take it but same deal, halfway across the country! If you think about shipping let me know.

Guys - I'll ship but this is the scenario I'd really like to avoid:

We agree on a price, I spend a few hours getting it wrapped, protected and on a pallet, and then the shipping quote cancel's the deal.

I just purchased a new front & rear bumper from Jason. They are HUGE, heavy and the pallet was friggin massive. Shipping wasn't that bad - if I remember correctly, somewhere in the $300's.

I'll talk to Jason to see what he recommends - will post a reply once I have some solid information.

Thanks-

Shane

I will bow out at this time, and wait for something closer to me in Cali. Thanks for the response.

Shane, Freight will be the cheapest. FED EX and UPS ship on weight plus dimensions and the box has to be under 150#s..

I'd say local pick-up or MUDSHIP are the two options. Freight will be approx 150.00 I'd think pending destination... plus pallet and boxing materials.

Or if its under 100#s, Greyhound would be another option.

No problem and honestly, I don't blame you. Good luck with the search and if I see something closer to you, I'll give you a heads-up.

copy that and same back to you. . .whatever/whenever; duct tape, zip ties, trash bags on the ready!

I have shipped one of these through greyhound. If I recall it was right at the weight limit but mine was non winch. I wrapped all surfaces with cardboard and tape.

Thanks and much appreciated. I'm going to put it on the scale tomorrow - will post weight 2moro night.

Fingers crossed-

I tried that when I sent mine. They made me take it back and wrap it. They said it didnt need to be in a box, but they didnt want the exposed metal / painted metal to mark up other items in cargo.

No way I could send it unwrapped - ethically speaking - used or not, but I think the Greyhound route is an excellent recommendation. Thanks for the heads-up - much appreciated.
