Hi All,

I'm planning to make a steel frame softtop for my 40 series. I've found some dimensions on the site here. But it would be helpfull to find some more detailed photos of the surrounding part along the top of the front doors. I have some original hardtop B-pillars, so I can fab the rest of the piece toward the front window frame myself.
However it would be great to see how Toyota made that to fit with the canvas top to seal it from wind and rain.

All the help is welcome.
Photos, brochure, links all welcome. Thanks for the help!

Keep in mind the B pillar bow would be different if you have the soft top doors up to the 74 model. Hard doors and 74+ soft doors have a angle. Earlier soft doors which are most common are straight.

What angle are you talking about? I have early doors and '74 doors here and I don't see any angle difference. What am I missing?
