I bought an 83 FJ60 as a drivetrain donor for a IH Scout project I may work on someday. The 60 came as a shell and has a clean roof save for the damage above the front doors as shown in the photos. Looks like someone lifted the front of the truck with a strap at some point in time
I'm looking for interested parties that need sheet metal to keep their rigs on the road. Parts that I think have value and are worth saving:
Roof panel from about 12" in front of B-pillar back.
Front valence - it is slightly tweaked on passenger side, really hard to tell in any photos, but it's not perfectly straight.
Radiator support
Hood - hood is clean. Sheet metal has become "unstuck" from the support structure that it is glued to underneath. You cannot tell until you pop the hood and inspect this area. No indication from the outside that this separation has occurred.
Rear upper hatch - there is some cancer on the inside bottom of upper hatch
Rear lower hatch - there is some pretty good cancer on the bottom of the lower hatch. Probably much better shape that some that you east coasters run
Fenders - Passenger is beat up above the marker light. Bit of cancer on rear bottom of fender. Drivers is clean except for some cancer on rear bottom
Inner fender wells
I also have all the smog components. Not to say they are all functional, but everything was intact. I have not stripped it off yet. Assume this is a federal truck as it came from ID, it was never smogged in CA to my knowledge.
Obviously I will need to get some better photos of items, but wanted to throw this out to start. PM me you cell # and what you are interested in and I can text you photos, I don't want to deal with emails on this.
