Roof panels cannot be shipped without being strapped to a pallet. And the pallet has to be large enough to completely surround the roof. I seriously doubt such a ready-made pallet exists.

I have a guy I use for pallets and crating. His fee starts at $100. Then I have to figure out how to get it to Fastenal. I have no objection, but both my trucks have racks, so I can’t just throw it on top of the bed.

Well, the pallet is made.

After investing the better part of an hour to get the roof loaded and secured on my 45 yesterday and driving it down here this morning I found a message that the pallet guy wasn’t coming. F it. Another half an hour and $80 to pickup materials at the local Home Depot, and I am now a crate builder! Another hour and a half and I have a roof strapped down to a custom made pallet.

Now to find a neighbor or customer to help me load this sucker back on to the 45.
