SOA weird problem (1 Viewer)

Did a SOA on Meanie back in early march. Installed stock FJ40 springs & shackles all the way around. This past weekend I noticed that the front spring shackles are actually touching the frame when the weight is on the axles. (Yep...I did not notice this and have wheeled it 3 times since the SOA.) There is exactly 42" from the front center hole of the spring hanger to the hole in the frame where the top of the shackle attaches.

Any ideas what I did wrong before I cut a new hole in the frame and move it to the rear?

You might want to post this in the FJ 40 section and not the FJcruiser section. You would probably get more response there.

You're ahead of the curve!!! It'll be a few years before people are doing solid axle swaps on these trucks.
