We have sent our BJ40 to the work shop to start a SOA conversion n we would like some input on 2 items
1. we need some info on shocks for this conversion,we are using standard springs and dont want to use any extended shackles if possible [should give us a lift of about 5.5ins]
what size shocks to use??
we live in malaysia n its not easy to get the correct info from local vendors,so we will source from the US as usual
we are thinking of Rancho 9000 or Bilstein
does any one have the part nos for these shocks and thier
lengths
also what size bump stops do we need F/R for this conversion
2.
The steering arm link on the passenger side wheel.
The one advertised from US companys is for left hand drive
i dont think it will fit the right hand drive model
does anyone have the dimentions for this arm as it looks like we will have to make our own
We are following the SOA coversion from the forum
so far so good

Check out 4x4Labs.com....Luke makes a great hi-steer arm that should work for your RHD application.

IMO, 14" stroke shocks in front, 11-12" stroke in rear, modify mounts to fit. See the spread sheet in the tech links for LOTS of manuf's and part numbers. (my next set will be Bilstein 5100's)

now got a headache
some people say rancho are good some say no good
Rancho have limited choice
BUT BILSTEIN
i checked the Bilstein sited .even more head ache!!
any one got a good exporter fof Bilstein that can help
