Up for sale is a set of 4 Toyota Landcruiser Heritage 18'' BBS wheels fresh from powder coat. These were originally black Satin off a 2019 TRD Pro Tundra. I was going to powder coat them this Bronze color and put them on my 200 when I got this wild idea to polish them Gold instead. I saw this on another wheel, but it had a black lip and it was awesome...... on that wheel. When I picked them up, I knew it was too much gold and was not going to work, but I had to mount them and make sure for myself. I did. It looked terrible, less than 24 hours later I Plasti dipped them black just to make it through the weekend.

My previous 2016 Bronze wheels were not selling, so I still Had them laying around. I swapped back and had these powder coated the correct color. At this point I’m about $3,300 into them 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ I am not in a rush to sell. I still really like them and they are super light weight. I am just trying to cut my losses at this point.

Local pickup only in Cerritos or Irvine, CA.

4 wheels. 4 center caps. Local pickup only.
$2300

So just to clarify, these are not genuine heritage wheels off a heritage LC? I can get a set here for under $1900 for 4. Would you take less than that for yours?

@dwcruiser

These wheels came off a 2019 Tundra pro. The BBS Forged Wheels for the Tundra and Sequoia Pro and the 2020 Landcruiser Heritage are the exact same Forged aluminum wheel base. The thing that differentiates them is the center cap and powder coat paint color. The center caps are genuine Heritage part / color number. Check the picture, the color is spot on.

To my understanding its very difficult to find a dealer to sell you a set. They will take your order online, then cancel it when you cant provide a genuine Heritage owner VIN number. Even then, they wont sell you 4 wheels at a time because its a red flag. I definitely can not do $1900 or even close, but PM me and we can talk.

I just listen them, if they don't sell after some time, I may just throw some 35's on them and have 2 sets of wheels for my 200??

There has been a lot of discussion about high temp powder coating weakening these forged wheels. Do you know if low temp powder was used? The finish being changed multiple times causes a bit of pause for some I would guess. That being said, in their final form, they do look great though! I'm looking for set of these but price and shipping costs will probably make yours unrealistic for me. Best of luck with your sale.

Hey Jeff. I had also heard about this before the initial color change and brought it up to the powder coater. He’s a guy I have known for 10 years now. I trust him. I don’t do a ton of powder coating, but have refereed anyone I know and see him 2/3 times a year. I trust him. He told me it was BS, that he has done many forged wheels and never had an issue. And
He said he would replace them
If anything happen. I said ok and that was that. I didn’t get into any details of
Heat temp with him, but they look perfect and balanced fine the 1st and only time I had them mounted. I don’t know where your located, but PM and maybe we can make a deal and cover the shipping cost. They are in my office. I see them daily, they sure are nice. I have been keeping an eye out for a set of good used 35’s to maybe go that route. But let me know.
