Our FJ45 didn't sell on BaT in November, but we are still interested in selling/trading and moving into something for family friendly (we are 6 now). All the information I could think of is in the BaT ad linked here , but if anyone has more specific questions that weren't there, I can dig them up and answer them. I am looking to get somewhere in the $50k range. Trade-wise, Ideally a FJ45 troopy or nice FJ40 with jump seats, in similar condition. Ideally left hand drive. Let me know what you got, thanks.

I’m not super familiar with the FJ45 market, but generally speaking, I thought Land Cruisers did well at BaT auctions. Surprising this one didn’t meet the reserve?

Great truck!

Real nice truck. I've got a very similar truck myself and love it. I'm curious about the 3.70 gears. What kind of rpms are you running at 60 and 70 mph?

Thanks,
Mike

70 is a pipe dream, but 60 is just fine. Its the original gauge cluster, so no tach, but it's not screaming.

Can a 6 foot dude fit in one of these?

Yes. It’s tight and not like the comfort of modern cars, but yes. I’m 5’11”, 175 lbs and have 4” between my gut and the wheel.

I'm 6' and weight about 250 with a bit of a belly. I just wonder if I'd be sitting on the steering wheel...lol!

Well, I suspect so. No AC, so drive it in the heat until you sweat off the pounds and have a comfy fit!
Ooooh, I like where your head is at. Plenty of heat here for that!

I am 6'1 and 225, wife is 6'2 and 165, it's great for an hour, fine for 2 hours, 3 hours would be a stretch, and 4 hours you are most likely stopping for fuel anyways.

Is this still available?

Yep, still sitting in the garage! Drove it to work at the fire station a few weeks ago.
It's pretty sweet. If you are still looking to sell PM me your best price.

They look original and exceptional, with the locks.
