    Hey,

So for the past 3-4 weeks since I've got my Snorkel.

I’ve got people staring at it, everyone in a intersection looking at it, and when I fill up for gas I get questioned about its use.

    Is this all normal!

Or is that just the people in Cali!

Completely normal. I've had a snorkel for 2+ years on my FJ62 and I get looks almost every time I drive it. It gets old. It's the main downside to having a snorkel - it gets old and reminds you that people are stupid...

Every time someone mentions "snorkel" I crack up laughing thinking about the eBay auction where the guy mistook his rear heater for a snorkel. LOL.

Thanks. Most people look at it and just wonder why? Mine had nothing to do with water at all anyways, I avoid the stuff as much as possible. The Taco draws it's air from the passenger wheel well and when winter wheeling in cold, deep snow my airbox used to literally fill solid with ice/snow. I used to wheel all winter with a spare filter so I could chip out the ice with a screwdriver and then put in the clean filter when I started losing power. I got tired of that and I'm sure it was hard on the motor so I picked up the snorkel for a nice snow free air supply in the deep snow. ....Steve
