For guys with the Sniper + dui distributor....what are you setting timing to? Or anyone that would know. Thanks#!

I would set it at 10* initial and then factory advance from there. Being up high, you may be able to run 13-15 but I would work to that number.

EFI or carb, it’s still an iron headed 2F.

another seat of the pants option (for any engine) is to set the timing so that it just barely pings under the most demanding load when running octane 87 gasoline - then use octane 89 fuel from there on out. The higher octane will squash the little pre ignition that existed when using crap gas
