smog pump switch-a-roo (1 Viewer)

Hello, I have a 1983 FJ60 and I'm Having the worst time finding anyone to fix or replace my broken smog pump (also can't seem to get the pulley off the pump).
current idea Is buy a pump for a 1973 and try and make that work ( has anyone tried something similar?)

can I buy another pump dismantle it and use the parts to restore the original pump? if so suggested pump?

very open and interested in other ideas.
