smog pump pulley (1 Viewer)

i got the cardone smog pump. now i need to take the pulley off the old one and put it on the new one.Do i need a special tool for that?any help would be greatly appereciated. thanks mark

The belt wheel is held onto smog pump with four short bolts ; Cardone pump 'shaft' should have a round plate with 4 threaded holes....

I struggled to get the pulley off.
Finally, I got a strap wrench - its essentially a big strap of rubber that holds the pulley still while you work the bolts. It worked very well.

Some pulleys have three holes, some have 4. Make sure you have the right pump before you get your rig torn apart.
