Smell coming from my engine..... (1 Viewer)

Been enjoying my FJ60 this winter driving it a lot on the weekends here in Upstate NY. Noticed a smell coming from the engine after I turn her off where even I get to. Recent tuneup and running good. No issues with overheating and can't see any leaks when I look inside the engine bay. Any idea what could be causing the smell? Not a clutch or brake smell. ANy ideas what it could be other than driving a 35 years old FJ60 hard?

Oh man really? That’s aweful. Take it outside quick.

Probably an exhaust leak. See if your exhaust manifold gasket is leaking near the firewall.

I believe @NeverGiveUpYota discovered her cam bearings were spun when she detected a burned oil smell coming from the engine.

If you don’t shave the cat before you put them in there they stink something fierce.
