sm465 and splitcase (1 Viewer)

i want to put a sm465 in my 72 fj40. A guy contacted me and said that he had an adaptor for a sm465 to a split transfer case and also the transfercase. My question is will the split transfercase adaptor work with my 3-speed transfercase. Is the split case better than my 3-speed and how much is a split case worth.

split case = 60-62 series case or very late FJ40. They are stronger than the other FJ40-55 cases. I've seen them sell anywhere from $150 and up, used.

The input on your 3-speed t-case is 10 spline, the split is 19....no workie....
