How much gap should I have between the rear slip yoke and the driveshaft? I took measurements using the guidance of a thread here where you jack up the truck and measure... I had the driveshaft shortened to accommodate for the NV4500 but probably got the measurements wrong. There is less than a 1” gap? Should I get the ds shortened a little more?

I would shorten it about 1” based on your picture.

Thanks Matt!

From what I’ve read about 3/4 inch should be fine. If you take a fully stuffed measurement and substract 1/4” or maybe more that should be enough que no?

Gracias @dbleon, there is probably about a 3/4” gap on my truck but it just doesn’t look right, the picture that @OSS shows looks a little more “normal” to me

Can someone post another picture of the spacing in their truck? TIA
