Driving down tomorrow to meet up with Ken and have some new slider protection installed.

Got a question for you guys...I saw that you can use some step-side end caps instead of mud flaps to cover the front step mounts.
I saw this on Slee's site.
Are these available from a parts dealer?
Yes, I left a message for Cdan, just wondering if anyone else here might know.

Will post pics of sliders tomorrow if there is interest.

front mudflaps are a Toyota part. get them from CDan.

the little caps are a Slee part. Get them from Slee. I called for this same cap a week ago and was told that they have none in stock right now, but expected a new batch soon. Give them a call to check on availability.

Congrats on the new sliders :D

I used the mud flaps from CDan, about $100 for the set. I trimmed them to go over the slider and they came out nice. So if you can't get the caps from Slee you can make the mud flaps work.

Some people don't like the flaps or wheel hard enough to just rip 'em off which is fine. The flaps actually keep a lot of mud and grime from flinging up the doors. I won't complain until one gets ripped off :grinpimp: Love the sliders too, bolt up great and the cat protection works well...found that out already.

Pics avaiable upon request.

Yes please.

I saw the caps on slee's site but they say "stock" next to them. That is where the confusion lies with me.

BTW, how is Grant's Pass right now? My Mother lives there, right out by the Applegate?

Perhaps I should give her a call...

Thanks!

Got the mud-flaps from Dan already but was waiting on the install of sliders before puting them on. If I can get the end caps, I would prefer those. Maybe send flaps back or sell them to someone here. Why does Slee say "stock" next to the end cap description?
Just curious.

I bought them from Slee and like them

did you see them here?

Says "Optional Slee molded flare caps" there...

Oops, my bad.

I know I saw "stock" somewhere.

Hmm, probably written on the inside of my large intestine.

I can see more clearly now that I pulled my head out. :D

Sorry to waste time.

Thanks for the info and pics.

Slight dusting of snow this morning. Cooler than usual, in the mid 20's at night. She is out by the Applegate river, could be in quite a few places. Give her a call and if you pay her a visit look up us fellow mudders here

I'm going for the caps rather than the mud flaps based on cost alone.
I'm a cheap bastid sometimes. :D

I couldn't find a price on the Slee's, but I didn't know they existed either. Nice to know I have another option if I end up ripping off a flap which I hope I don't do cuz that's just like pissing money away :grinpimp:

If you head out the 199 you go left on Helms and another left on Demaray, she is back there by Baum Slough. You know where that is? She has a great little three acres back there. There is a beautiful blueberry field on Helms accross the way.

Thanks for the pics and I will be looking you up on my next visit.

They are around $65 bones at Slee.
I called and asked Ben.
They will call when they are in stock.

Know the area...she is sitting on a nice investment with 3 acres there. Hope to meet you sometime soon

Any word on these caps? I just installed my Hannas and need something there!

Do you wanna sell me the flaps Skillet?

I will say that once you remove the OEM running boards, the amount of gravel damage is big. The rockers hold up, but I now have rock chips up about 1/4 the way up the body. The rear flares are beat badly. The new OME rear shocks are really beat up badly too, no paint left on the forward facing lower half. I just put these on in January too.

For those interested in the aesthetics, put some sort of mud flap on after removing the running boards, or don't do what I do and wash the truck (try to do twice a year if it needs it or not :) ).

Will the Slee caps work with the Hanna sliders? Any trimming needed?

Thanks, found it. Exactly what I was looking for.

I am like -10 on the artistry scale. I can copy ok, just don't ask me to visualize and create!

One done, one to go. Thanks for the re-direct.
