I need to install a zeon 10s winch into a shortbus bumper. Slee sells a relocation kit, but won’t tell me where I can mount the control unit. Anyone have their take on the best plate to mount it? Any pictures?

I think 🤔. It's been a few years, but now that you mention it I think I did.

1st edition Slee shortbus ( yes, their is a difference, even though their website clearly states that a Zeon 10s fits, it most definitely doesn't on the earlier production short bus bumpers). I did some trimming on the winch itself, and relocated the solenoid to in front of my battery without any type of bracket, and am using the wireless remote.

Early ShortBus bumpers did not fit the Zeon winches without cutting the valence under the lights. That later bumpers (about last 2 years) does fit the winch, however the solenoid box has to be relocated. The supplied solenoid brackets does not fit the Zeon solenoid pack. We have not developed a way to mount that on the bumper since here is not enough space. It pretty much have to be mounted somewhere on the truck or inside the engine bay. There might be a way to mount it in the wing of the bumper (as we have done wiith the 100 and 200 bumpers) but we have to checked if that will fit.
