This seems to be a common problem with the OME kit. I wish I found one of the threads on it before dropping some serious coin on my 1.5" medium Slee kit.
The rear right spring is loose in it's perches and creaks when being compressed or moved. I crawled under the truck yesterday with the spare out and a stethascope and pinpointed the creak to the actual rear passenger spring. all the bushings look good, and didn't make noise before or after I doused them with white lithium grease. I had the install work done by a local Land Cruiser specialist- Mudrak's- and it made noise after about 500 miles.
Is there a remedy for this?
What would lead one spring to be loose and noisy while the other is tight and quiet?
Will my spring fall out of the truck with normal driving? I guess no, but man my springs will fall out of my head if I have to listen and feel this creak anymore!
