Slee Carrier Hi-Lift Holder Problems (NOW FIXED)

    Hey Guys

I got my slee rear bumper on and everything is top notch for sure.

The one problem/question i have is the hi-lift holder. I mount it up as it is supposed to be and it does not stay in place. It rotates on the stud that holds the jack to the carrier and slides out of the base plate.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any tricks??

    Thanks

How are you mounting it? I have never had problems but also mounted it wrong for a while. The right way to mount it is with the lift plate in toward the tire and the lifting bar away from the tire. The bolt goes btw the lifting lever and the hi lift I beem and not threw a hole in the I beem. then the curved part of the plate goes around the lifting bar andthe L portion pushes down on the I beem portion. Let me know if you need a pic...or if any of this makes any sence.

clarkw3 is correct. It seems like the bolt should go through one of th holes. Took me about 15 minutes to figure it out. No issues since then

Now you're ready for the next trick. Get a hi-lift cover and punch two 1/2" ID gromets into it at the right height to fit.
